Men and women are clearly physically different from one another. The most obvious differences between the sexes stem from the fact that men and women each have distinct reproductive systems.
Most of the female reproductive system is internal while most of the male system is external. One part of the male reproductive system that is not external is the prostate gland.
Only men have a prostate gland. It is about the size of a walnut and is located just below the bladder, surrounding the urethra, which is the tube that carries both urine and semen out of the body. The prostate gland is part gland and part muscle and is comprised of a central lobe with one lobe on each side.
